It is the breed’s nature to be loyal and protective of his family.
They love kids in their own family and take a lot of abuse from them.Filas make great family pets and are gentle, loving, loyal and very protective. They will also bond with other pets in your home.He is docile and obedient to his owners and family and extremely tolerant with children in his own family. They are highly active and needs a job to do, which can be anything from walking on a leash to daily training activities. He will not be satisfied to lie around and do nothing. Because of his high prey drive, he must be prevented from chasing and killing cats or small dogs and therefore needs a strong, solid fence to keep him on his own property.These breed makes a wonderful guard dog.
