Boston Terriers are known for being very intelligent.Their lively, affectionate nature makes them extremely loveable, though their sometimes stubborn nature or spurts of hyperactivity can land them in hot water with their owners. Any angst about their behavior, however, soon melts when they look up at you with those huge, round eyes.

The Boston Terrier is playful,very affectionate and likes to be part of the family.These little dogs may be difficult to housebreak.Boston Terriers are good for apartment as well as country living. They are relatively inactive indoors and do okay without a yard.

The Boston has been nicknamed "the American Gentleman" because of his dapper appearance, characteristically gentle disposition and suitability as companion and house pet. They require only a moderate amount of exercise and a minimum amount of grooming. The breed is easy to train and they are easy keepers, preferring to remain by their owner’s sides.

The Boston Terrier is gentle, alert, very intelligent, well-mannered and enthusiastic. Without the proper amount of mental and physical exercise it can become destructive and a bit high strung. They are very sensitive to the tone of one's voice.

Boston's like to learn and therefore are not difficult to train. Their intelligence ensures they pick things up quickly.Bostons need a gentle, but firm, confident, consistent pack leader who knows how to display authority over the dog.The Boston is devoted and sensitive to its owner's wishes and moods.
